Pedro Acosta dominates Hungary MotoGP Practice, Pecco Bagnaia in Q1

Pedro Acosta dominated Friday’s Hungarian MotoGP practice, signaling KTM’s strong form as Pecco Bagnaia struggled to secure a Q2 spot by finishing 14th. Acosta set a rapid 1m36.827s lap late in the session, building on a 1m37.741s earlier and ultimately finishing with a 1m36.401s final flying lap to claim top time, 0.413 seconds ahead of Fabio Di Giannantonio on the VR46 Ducati. Raul Fernandez led the Aprilia charge in third on the Trackhouse RS-GP, while championship leader Bezzecchi was sixth and Marc Marquez seventh. Bagnaia was knocked out of the top 10, forcing Q1, and Brad Binder crashed late, ending his hopes for a Q2 berth. The session also saw Lecuona finish 17th on the Gresini Ducati, as the field prepared for qualifying on Saturday morning.
