Philadelphia police still searching for suspect after 20-year-old motorcycle instructor killed in hit-and-run
Philadelphia police are still searching for a driver after a hit-and-run crash killed a 20-year-old Temple University student and motorcycle safety instructor, Bryce Wolfe. The incident happened Wednesday, June 24, around 11:15 p.m., on Kelly Drive near Reservoir Drive. Police said a white SUV traveling eastbound attempted an illegal turn onto Reservoir Drive, then returned to the eastbound lane and entered Wolfe’s path while he rode his 2004 Triumph westbound. The SUV struck the motorcycle, and Wolfe became trapped under the vehicle as the driver kept going for more than a mile before stopping near Fountain Green Drive. Wolfe was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center with a fractured leg and head injuries, and was pronounced dead shortly before 5 a.m. Thursday. Investigators have not identified the driver or confirmed the vehicle’s make and model.
