Police appeal after West Lothian cyclist hit-and-run

Police in West Lothian have appealed for information after a hit-and-run involving a cyclist near West Calder on Thursday, 25 June. The rider was struck by a driver using the A704 road segment between West Calder and Forth at around 9:35am, leaving him with minor injuries after being thrown from his bicycle. The cyclist was traveling westbound when his right elbow was hit by the wing mirror of a white Mercedes SUV as it overtook him. After the collision, the driver did not stop and continued westbound at speed. Officers are seeking the driver and any witnesses, and request that anyone with dash-cam footage from the area contact Police Scotland.
