Rams LT Alaric Jackson arrested on suspicion of domestic battery
Rams starting left tackle Alaric Jackson was arrested on suspicion of felony domestic battery after an incident in the San Fernando Valley. Police say they responded to his home Monday evening and arrested him early Tuesday; he was booked into a Los Angeles County jail and released on a $50,000 bond. The 27-year-old, 6-foot-7, 340-pound lineman signed a three-year, $56.3 million contract ahead of the 2025 season. Jackson has appeared in 57 games (51 starts) since joining the Rams as an undrafted player out of Iowa in 2021. He was suspended two games by the NFL in 2024 for violating its personal conduct policy.
At the time of the report, the Rams organization had not issued further comment. The case adds to ongoing scrutiny of NFL players’ off-field conduct. No court date was provided, and updates are expected from Los Angeles County authorities and the Rams.
