The U.S. escalated its trade dispute with Canada by announcing import bans on most Canadian alcoholic beverages, along with products including whey, molasses and certain motorcycles. Canadian provinces reportedly began removing U.S. labels from shelves in 2025, a move tied to counter-bans on American alcohol. U.S. trade data show $846.1 million on the list in 2025.
