At Las Vegas Motor Speedway, a Tesla Cybertruck outperformed a S650 Ford Mustang GT in a drag race that finished three times in the EV’s favor. The matchup echoes an internet trend of Cybertruck challenges, typically through towing or pull tests, but this time it was a straight-line sprint. Despite the Mustang’s advantage in power-to-weight, the Cybertruck left the GT behind repeatedly, throwing up dust clouds and recording three runs of about 11 seconds each with an exit speed near 120 mph. By contrast, the Mustang took roughly 14 seconds to cover the track. Multiple wins suggest it wasn’t a one-off result.
