The Audi Q9 Flagship SUV Is Almost Here To Rival the GLS and X7 - Rendering
The Audi Q9 flagship SUV is nearing launch with a design largely based on the latest-generation Q7, aiming to challenge large German rivals in the full-size segment. A rendering shared by Instagram artist @kelsonik suggests the Q9 will keep the Q7’s split front lighting signature, with daytime running lights positioned above the main clusters. The grille and front bumper intake appear taller and differently shaped than the Q7, while the hood, door mirrors, and door handles also look closely related. At the rear, elements such as the taillights, a thin light strip spanning the width, and a roof-mounted wing are depicted with similar styling. The cabin is described as accommodating six or seven passengers, featuring two dashboard screens, a panoramic roof, and a three-spoke steering wheel. Power is rumored to include V6 and V8 engines with partial electrification. Production is set for Slovakia, targeting the U.S. and Middle East, with an unveiling this summer.
