“CRX Farm” in Kansas isn’t just a stash of Honda CRX parts. The operation, run by Jeremiah Freeman, includes a large inventory of golden-era Hondas and related Acura models, with counts attributed to the owner: 67 second-generation CRX hatchbacks, 20 first-gen examples, and 29 Del Sols, plus various Civics, Accords, Integras, and Preludes, along with a rare Acura RSX. There are also CR-Vs, Elements, Odysseys, and a Pilot. Freeman says many vehicles aren’t drivable and that he rarely sells complete cars; the value is in hard-to-find components for cars now pushing 40 years old. The collection grew from searching for a fuel-efficient daily—specifically a CRX HF that returned 55 mpg when new—and then parting out cars after repairs and a parts-selling experiment that proved more profitable. He keeps a few rules, including not wasting time and refusing rude interactions.
