These Small, Funky Fiats Will Be The New Chrysler Arrow And Arrow Cross - Jalopnik
Stellantis laid out a bold turnaround plan, committing about $70 billion and targeting 60 new models by 2030 to reshape its lineup. The strategy includes a revived Chrysler lineup centered on the Airflow and two new siblings dubbed Arrow and Arrow Cross to broaden the brand’s reach. At Stellantis’ May Investor Day, Fiat’s Grizzly and Grizzly Fastback surfaced as the underlying concepts for the Arrow duo, with Chrysler variants expected to follow closely. The vehicles are slated to ride on the Smart Car platform, aligning small crossovers across brands. Production timing remains fluid, but Stellantis said the Grizzly pair will begin rolling off the line in the second half of this year, signaling a concrete path for Arrow models. Executives stressed a badge-engineering approach rather than wholesale platform swaps, leveraging shared underpinnings to accelerate product cadence. The plan signals a broader push to diversify beyond a single flagship model and strengthen Stellantis’ footprint in the competitive compact crossover segment.
