This Mercedes brazenly drove at 100mph right in front of a police car in Keighley
xCruzo Brief
A Mercedes was reported traveling at 100 mph in front of a marked police car in Keighley, within West Yorkshire’s Bradford district, police said. Officers stated that the white vehicle joined the A650 along with another car before both proceeded to reach 100 mph in a 70 mph zone, appearing “seemingly oblivious” to law enforcement presence. The Mercedes was stopped, and the driver was reported to court for speeding. Police added that the vehicle had been without a Vehicle Excise Licence since December 2025, and it was seized on behalf of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency. Paperwork was also served to the owner of the second vehicle related to the speeding offence, with further enquiries under way to identify the driver.
