Tom Holland said on “The Tonight Show” with Jimmy Fallon that his Instagram direct message to Norwegian football star Erling Haaland was ignored. Holland told Fallon on Monday that he had messaged Haaland after seeing him in person at the F1 Monaco Grand Prix in June, where Haaland was in a hospitality suite across from him. “I was totally in shock” after not receiving any reply, Holland said, adding he received “not even a response, not an excuse… nada.” Fallon suggested Holland reach out again, and Holland joked he doubts Haaland would agree—referencing England beating Norway to move forward to this year’s FIFA World Cup semi-finals.
