Victim in fatal hit-and-run identified as Mass. man

Massachusetts police have identified a man killed in a fatal hit-and-run in Framingham. Officers responded to the area of 180 Irving St. on Sunday and found an injured man who had been struck by a vehicle. He was transported to MetroWest Medical Center, where he later died. On Tuesday, the Middlesex County District Attorney’s Office identified the victim as Ronan Nunes De Oliveira, a 39-year-old Framingham resident. The driver fled the scene. Investigators believe the vehicle involved was a gray 2016 Volkswagen GTI. Authorities are asking anyone who witnessed the crash, or who has information about the driver, to contact Framingham police.
