Ford’s optional 4K Tow Package is designed for drivers who want the Maverick to do more than its standard setup. Without the package, the 2025 Maverick’s tow rating is 2,000 pounds across both powertrains and both drive configurations. The Maverick Hybrid uses a 2.5-liter inline-4 plus two electric motors for 184 horsepower, with 236 lb-ft of torque from the electric motors (Ford doesn’t publish a total combined torque figure). The EcoBoost gas engine is a turbo 2.0-liter inline-4 making 250 hp and 280 lb-ft. The 4K package raises maximum towing to 4,000 pounds with added trailer brake control and a Class III hitch (2-inch receiver, 4-/7-pin connector), plus cooling upgrades and a 17-inch spare setup.
