After 3 Years, 'Silo' Finally Answers 2 Major Questions We've Been Dying To Understand
Silo’s third season is underway, and Episode 2, titled “It’s All Good,” delivers two major revelations that explain part of the show’s “banning of relics” mystery. The episode expands on the “forgetting drugs” being given to Juliette (Rebecca Ferguson), after Episode 1 established that she is secretly medicated to forget what happened outside the silo, including events involving Bernard (Tim Robbins). The writing links the drugs to a timeline stretching back more than 300 years, tying together characters and developments across eras. In the flashback, Victor (Matt Craven) tells Daniel (Ashley Zukerman) that Charlotte (Jessica Brown Findlay) doesn’t remember him because of the medication he is giving her. The show suggests the dosage and number of memories that return can be controlled, with the possibility of implanting false stories. It also frames a moral risk: manipulating who people are can have damaging consequences, even if it offers potential advantages.
