Orchard Music Series kicks off in Sunnyvale

Sunnyvale is set to launch its Orchard Music Series at 6 p.m. starting Sept. 17 at the Sunnyvale Community Center Amphitheater with a pop music mash-up by the Peelers. Additional free concerts include Chicago and Steely Dan tribute band Aja Vu on Sept. 24, featuring food from Waffle Roost, T-Mo and Mister Softee; Pop Fiction performing contemporary pop, R&B and country on Oct. 1, with food from Chic N’ Bros, Sam’s Chowder Mobile and Luv’s Brownies; and Pop Rockz bringing a dance party lineup on Oct. 8, with food by Fire & Slice Pizza, Me Oi and Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee Truck. Families can expect kid activities, and organizers advise bringing blankets for seating.
