Sheeran's concert 'special guest' addresses Gaza situation

Ed Sheeran’s support act at the Loop Tour used a “special guest” slot to address the Gaza war and argue for finding “common ground,” according to videos shared online from Atlanta. Isaac Slade, frontman of The Fray, spoke ahead of Sheeran’s headline set at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Saturday (03.10.26), saying what’s happening in Gaza is “wrong,” and that people must move into the “middle place.” The tour has been amid controversy after Macklemore was dropped following pro-Palestine comments on stage, prompting other support acts to quit. Sheeran later addressed backlash during his first show back after the change.
