This week's TV: A graduation for all, Catherine 'The Great,' and 'Snowpiercer' gets on track

This week’s TV centers on a virtual graduation and a slate of new series, with major networks simulcasting “Graduate Together: America Honors the High School Class of 2020” on Saturday, May 11, at 8 p.m. The one-hour, ceremony-less tribute was created amid the coronavirus pandemic and is commercial free. LeBron James helped put the event together, and organizers say it will include addresses and performances from prominent figures, especially former President Barack Obama. The program will also feature H.E.R., the Jonas Brothers, Ben Platt, Megan Rapinoe, Yara Shahidi, Lena Waithe, Pharrell Williams, and Malala Yousafzai. Elsewhere, Hulu premieres “The Great” on Friday with Elle Fanning and Nicholas Hoult, while Starz debuts crime drama “Hightown” on Sunday at 8 p.m. and Netflix releases “Have a Good Trip: Adventures in Psychedelics” on Monday.
