Will Trent' Will Officially Return in 2027

ABC confirms that Will Trent Season 5 will arrive on ABC in 2027, though a specific return date hasn’t been announced. The update comes as the show’s momentum grows on Netflix: all four seasons were added last week and quickly surged into the platform’s top 10. Will Trent premiered in 2023, with four seasons released by ABC so far, and Season 4 is approaching nearly a year since its premiere. The series, while not a direct copy of Netflix’s The Lincoln Lawyer, offers a similar procedural blend with courtroom elements. Filming for Season 5 has already wrapped, so the wait could be shorter depending on the Season 4 rollout pattern.
