Mike Rogers. This is why I want Michigan's vote for Senate
Mike Rogers urged Michigan voters to back him for Senate, framing the race as high-stakes for the state and the country. In remarks following the Aug. 4 Democratic primary, Rogers said his campaign aims to lower housing costs, improve reading outcomes, and bring manufacturing jobs back to Michigan. He criticized Democratic opponent Abdul El-Sayed’s proposals, arguing they would raise costs, including a gas-powered car ban he said could hurt auto manufacturing workers. Rogers also attacked El-Sayed’s “Medicare for All” plan, citing claims it would increase expenses and restrict patient choice, as well as statements about private insurance. The candidate further linked El-Sayed to alleged associations with terrorist sympathizers, citing donations and comments Rogers attributes to him.
