PACScribe Advances Medical Imaging Workflows with AI-Assisted Reporting and Built-In EHR Integration

PACScribe has launched a unified, cloud-based platform aimed at reducing fragmented medical imaging workflows by bringing together imaging storage, diagnostic viewing, AI-assisted reporting, secure sharing, and electronic health record (EHR) connectivity. The company says the environment supports end-to-end handling from study upload through reporting and delivery to clinical systems, with fewer manual handoffs. A key feature is built-in integration with Epic, including patient context synchronization, single sign-on, imaging retrieval, and exchange of reporting information. The browser-based DICOM viewer lets authorized users review and annotate images without desktop installations. PACScribe also generates draft reports with AI for radiologists to edit, then synchronize with connected EHRs, supporting standards such as HL7, FHIR, and DICOM.
