Princess Kate reveals what made a 'big difference' in cancer recovery
Princess Catherine has said that spending time outdoors made a “huge difference” during her cancer recovery. She announced her diagnosis in March 2024 and later said she was in remission in January 2025. In September, she visited London’s Royal Marsden Hospital, where she met patients and staff and discussed how recovery involved multiple elements alongside chemotherapy. She said nature, good nutrition and ongoing support can help when dealing with the “trials and tribulations” of treatment. Catherine also recently raised funds for the Royal Marsden by completing the National Three Peaks Challenge this summer, donating money to support holistic cancer care. Her fundraising supported a £200 million development plan for a new specialist center for Holistic Wellbeing and Recovery.
