Total Nutrition Inc., a New York-based dietary supplement maker, has recalled two products linked to a multi-state salmonella outbreak that has sickened 119 people and hospitalized 32 in 36 states. The recalled items are TNVitamins Ultra Potent Complete Green Superfood and Doctor's Pride Complete Green Superfood Ultra Potent Moringa Capsules. The outbreak investigation began in January and was closed in March after a recall by Superfoods, Inc of Live it Up-brand Super Greens; it was reopened after new cases, and Total Nutrition has ceased distribution and sale. Connecticut has reported three to four illnesses. Refund requests can be made by contacting TNVitamins with name, order number, and product lot codes.
