Santa Ynez Tribal Health Clinic to Host Health Fair
The Santa Ynez Tribal Health Clinic will host a Community Resource Health Fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28, at the Tribal Hall on the Santa Ynez Reservation. The free event is open to the public and is designed to connect residents with health, social service and community programs available across Santa Barbara County. Organizers expect more than 40 participating organizations and partners. Attendees can access resources from agencies covering healthcare, public safety, family services, senior services, caregiving support, health insurance, child advocacy and community wellness programs. Featured participants include the American Red Cross, California Highway Patrol, CASA of Santa Barbara County, CenCal Health, Covered California and others. The fair includes walk-in activities, food trucks, raffle prizes, and a free blood donation opportunity. SYTHC teams will also run medical and dental information booths.
