Schitt's Creek star Noah Reid joins CBS' Sheriff Country for possible spin-off

Noah Reid, best known for Patrick on Schitt’s Creek, is set to join CBS’s Sheriff Country for a possible medical spin-off. Reid will appear in one episode of the show’s upcoming second season as Dr. Hudson “Hud” Henshaw, described by CBS as Chief of Emergency Medicine at Edgewater Memorial Hospital (“Med Edge”). If the new project gets the green light, he would headline the spin-off. Sheriff Country is itself a Fire Country spinoff starring Morena Baccarin as Sheriff Mickey Fox. Season two also features Ben McKenzie as Sheriff Wade and a two-hour Fire Country crossover on Nov. 6, 2026.
