Spruce Biosciences at H.C. Wainwright: BLA path comes into focus By Investing.com
Spruce Biosciences used the H.C. Wainwright 28th Annual Global Investment Conference to lay out a regulatory and clinical plan for tralesinidase alfa, its lead therapy for MPS IIIB, centered on gaining approval through an accelerated pathway. During a Tuesday, 15 September 2026 presentation, management said recent FDA discussions clarified the route forward, though the company remains in development mode and has not reported commercial results. Spruce plans to submit a biologics license application in the fourth quarter of 2026. The company aims for accelerated approval using heparan sulfate as a surrogate endpoint, a strategy bolstered by an FDA forum in February 2024. It reported rapid and durable biomarker normalization across multiple domains.
