Transported to hospital after rollover crash - Now Georgia

Two people were transported to a hospital Tuesday evening after an SUV rollover near Highway 115 and Cannon Bridge Road in Demorest, Georgia. Habersham County Emergency Services (HCES) was dispatched shortly before 6 p.m. Crews found the SUV upside down along the side of the road. Emergency personnel located an unresponsive male passenger and transported him emergently to Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville. The driver was taken non-emergently to the same hospital, according to HCES. The crash shut down one lane of traffic until about 7:30 p.m. Authorities have not confirmed the cause and have not released the names. Now Georgia said it will update the report as new information is released.
