President Donald Trump announced new drug-pricing agreements with international pharmaceutical companies and some smaller biotechs on Monday, as part of an effort to reduce healthcare costs for Americans. The Oval Office deals included Astellas, BeOne Medicines, CSL, BridgeBio, Sun Pharmaceutical and UCB SA, while Israel’s Teva said it remains in talks with the administration. Trump said the companies offered drugs to state Medicaid programs at “most-favored-nation” prices, describing the discounts as substantial.
