Acuña, Riley power Braves past Phillies 5-4 - Now Georgia

Acuña hit his 16th home run of the season—No. 1000th career hit—off a 100.5-mph fastball from Phillies reliever Alex McFarlane in the eighth inning. After Mike Yastrzemski and Drake Baldwin reached, Acuña’s blast tied the score at 4. In the ninth, Ozzie Albies doubled and Riley tripled to take the lead. Dylan Lee earned the win in relief of Tyler Mahle, and Raisel Iglesias recorded his 31st save. Philadelphia got offense from Kyle Schwarber’s MLB-leading 42nd homer and Derek Hill’s solo shot.
