Cole Palmer signs Chelsea contract extension to 2034 and eyes 'major trophies'

Cole Palmer has signed a contract extension with Chelsea that keeps him at the Premier League club until 2034, extending his deal by another year. The new arrangement follows a two-year extension agreed in 2024 that would have run until 2033. Palmer, 24, said in a Chelsea statement on Saturday that talks with the owners, sporting directors and manager gave him confidence, and that the club’s ambitions match his own—specifically, winning major trophies. This season he has four goals in seven matches and has 91 goal contributions in 138 appearances since joining from Manchester City in 2023. He previously helped Chelsea win the FIFA Club World Cup and UEFA Conference League.
