Helens Star Camera Club members capture stunning snaps of sunsets
Members of the St Helens Star Camera Club have been sharing striking sunset and sunrise photographs after the group set a weekly theme for budding amateur photographers. The camera club describes itself as a supportive and friendly community for both amateur and professional shooters, with participants submitting recent images and taking part in regular themed challenges. Among the featured shots are a sunrise captured on the moss at St. Helens while fishing, scenes from Taylor Park near Newton Le Willows, and multiple golden-hour sunsets and evening views from locations including Tontine Car Park, Crank, and Pennington Flash. The gallery also includes quieter moments such as a phone shot highlighting birds in the foreground and a silhouette of Canada geese.
