IMG Academy cruises in 59-10 win over Cornerstone Christian (Tex.)

IMG Academy dominated Cornerstone Christian (Tex.) on Saturday, Aug. 30, cruising to a 59-10 win with scoring on every possession in the first half. The Ascenders put up 52 points before halftime while limiting the Warrior offense. Georgia QB commit Jayden Wade sparked early with a 78-yard touchdown run. Sophomore Cayden Gould followed with a 3-yard TD, then added a 37-yard rushing score later as the lead grew to 21-0. Gould finished with about 90 rushing yards on nine carries, while Wade threw for three passing touchdowns and a rushing score, going 8-of-11. Defensively, multiple players recorded tackles for loss, and IMG advanced to 2-0 after outscoring opponents 118-13.
