Neuville and Ogier go head-to-head for Rally Greece glory

Neuville and Ogier went head-to-head at Rally Greece, entering Sunday with a razor-thin margin after a day shaped by heat and puncture drama. Thierry Neuville and co-driver Martijn Wydaeghe led by just 4.1 seconds over Sebastien Ogier and Vincent Landais after conditions topped 33°C. Ogier struck early with a win on SS8 and took second on stage nine before Neuville replied on stages ten, twelve and regained the overall lead, which stood at 10.8 seconds at one point. A final-stage mistake left Neuville’s Hyundai leaking power steering fluid after he clipped a bank, though he returned to service at Loutraki with 100 km remaining. Takamoto Katsuta and Aaron Johnston held third provisionally after Fourmaux and Coria lost time to a puncture in stage 12. Evans’ tyre deflation ended his challenge in the final test, dropping him to seventh.
