Gaza mourns 10 killed in Eid strikes as Netanyahu vows wider control of the strip

Mourners gathered in Gaza City on Eid al-Adha as Israeli strikes killed 10 people, including five children and an elderly person, and wounded more than 20, according to Shifa Hospital. Among the dead was Hamas fighter Imad Isleim, with his body draped in a Hamas flag. Israel said it had targeted two Hamas militants in the northern Gaza Strip the previous day. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced Israel was expanding its control, saying 60% of Gaza is now under its grip, with a plan to move to 70%. Health ministry data show 16 killed and 39 wounded in the last 48 hours, and 922 killed overall since October.
