PHOTOS & VIDEOS: Big crowds turn out for 2026 Atlanta Pride Parade
Thousands turned out Sunday in Atlanta for the 2026 Atlanta Pride Parade and Festival despite overcast skies, with crowds described as “dancing in the streets.” The event marked the finale of the 57th annual Atlanta Pride weekend, after the festival portion was cut short on Saturday when it was cancelled due to Hurricane Isaias. Mayor Andre Dickens told Atlanta News First the city is “inclusive, welcoming,” adding that Atlanta does not “care who you love or how you love.” Festivities on Sunday included marches, music, drag performances, and food and merchandise vendors celebrating the LGBTQ+ community in Atlanta and the South. The parade began at the Civic Center MARTA station, moved up Peachtree Street, turned right onto 10th Street, and ended near Piedmont Park’s Charles Allen Gate.
