Schedule released for greatest Korn Ferry Tour season ever; here's why it's being considered that
The PGA Tour released the 2027 Korn Ferry Tour schedule, promoted as the “greatest Korn Ferry Tour season ever.” The lineup features 25 events across seven countries and 15 states, with four Finals tournaments, largely unchanged from 2026. The season ends with the Korn Ferry Tour Championship at The Federal Club in Glen Allen, Virginia, while the first three postseason starts remain in Franklin, Tennessee; Columbus, Ohio; and Owasso, Oklahoma. Ten tournaments air on Golf Channel, including two Bahamas events starting Jan. 17. A new stop, the Chile Open (97 Scotiabank Abierto de Chile), runs March 4-7 at Prince of Wales Country Club in Santiago. Regular-season purses stay at $1 million; Finals purses are $1.5 million. The tour’s big change is qualification: the top 40 points finishers receive promotion to the PGA Tour pathway, with the top 10 graduating to the Championship Series in 2028 and the next 30 earning full Challenger status.
