Students at Brown University plan rally against sexual violence on college campuses

Students at Brown University are planning a rally on Thursday to protest sexual violence on college campuses. Organizers said the issue has regained national attention after a botched investigation at Cornell University in New York. The group behind the demonstration said the goal is to highlight how widespread sexual assault remains across the country. Multiple organizations are expected to participate. The event will include a march starting at Wriston Quad and ending at the Main Green, according to organizers. The briefing is framed as part of broader campus activism and comes amid renewed scrutiny of how schools handle reported cases.
