Town dream of FA Cup glory after making perfect start to new season

Camden Town WFC heads into the Women’s FA Cup second-round qualifying with an unbeaten start that has fueled belief of a run for silverware. The club has won five games out of five across all competitions and has kept five clean sheets while scoring 24 goals, including a 4-0 away win over Clapton Community last weekend in Division One North. Camden will play Ebbsfleet United this Sunday after beating Clapton at the Old Spotted Dog Ground, where Andrea Chan scored just before halftime and Camden added an own goal, a goal from Maria Paz Vera shortly after the restart, and another from substitute Ginny Somers. Chairman Richard Mahoney said the trip to Ebbsfleet is a different challenge but one the squad is ready for.
