Vikings Catch A Massive Break Ahead Of Week 3 Matchup With Buccaneers

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers head into Week 3 against the Minnesota Vikings still searching for their first win, and they’ll do it without two rookie defenders. Greg Auman of Fox Sports reports that Reuben Bain Jr., sidelined with a groin injury, and Josiah Trotter, out with a shoulder sprain, are both unavailable Sunday. Trotter has been Tampa Bay’s defensive standout with 25 tackles, tied for third in the league, plus three sacks and a 38-yard interception return touchdown. With Trotter out, backup linebackers Christian Rozeboom or SirVocea Dennis are set to start. On the edge, Al-Quadin Muhammad is expected to replace Bain, and the Vikings passing game—ranked second-worst through two games—could be tested.
