Want it so badly": Arteta on Arsenal's Champions League ambition ahead of Bayern Munich clash

Mikel Arteta said Arsenal’s Champions League ambition is reignited after their perfect start—two wins in the group phase—put them on the road to Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena. Speaking ahead of the European clash in Germany, the Arsenal manager described the tie as the kind of stage and environment a club wants to be part of, and said the team prepared with “lots of enthusiasm” for a victory. Arteta also referenced last season’s disappointment, saying Arsenal were a penalty away from winning Europe’s top honor and that he tried over the summer to move on but “haven’t managed.” He framed criticism as normal for top teams, emphasizing Arsenal’s room to improve even after winning in the Premier League.
