Why is Greencore stock rallying today? By Investing.com
Greencore shares jumped 3.7% to 272p as the company issued a well-received Q4 and full-year FY26 trading update, lifting its adjusted operating profit guidance to about £248 million. That figure sits above the previous guidance range of £234 million to £242 million and also exceeds analyst consensus of £238 million. Full-year pro forma revenue for the year ended 25 September rose 3.6% to £3.38 billion, while Q4 pro forma revenue accelerated 4.5% to £1.04 billion. Manufactured volume grew 2.1% in the quarter, outpacing the wider grocery market’s 0.5% gain. A key driver was progress on the Bakkavor integration completed in January 2026, with early synergies already emerging in areas like procurement and distribution. Trading in early FY27 is described as positive, and the planned sale of US operations remains on track.
