Bitcoin and Ethereum ETF Weekly Flows: The Good, the Bad, and the Concerning
Spot Bitcoin ETFs finished the week with net inflows turning positive for the year, but flows remained uneven and some indicators looked concerning. After a strong period ending in late September—around $2.4 billion in net inflows over five days—BTC ETFs flipped year-to-date green. Week-to-date movement was volatile: $31.07 million in net inflows on Sept. 28, then a pullback of $148.69 million on Wednesday despite PCE inflation coming in below expectations, according to SoSoValue. Inflows returned Thursday with $102.67 million and Friday added about $31.7 million, totaling roughly $83 million for the week. Ethereum ETFs, meanwhile, saw net outflows of about $114 million, their second red week in three; cumulative ETH inflows eased slightly to $13.80 billion.
