KSB SE & Co. KGaA H1 Earnings Call Highlights
KSB SE & Co. KGaA reported higher order intake in the first half of 2026, but profitability lagged the prior year as material, energy and logistics costs rose and capacity utilization weakened in Q1. CFO Dr. Matthias Schmitz said order intake climbed 8.8% year over year while sales revenue increased 0.4%. Reported EBIT was €98 million, including a €16.6 million contribution from first-time consolidation of KSB Pumps Arabia and €12.3 million of SAP S/4HANA implementation costs. Currency effects cut reported order intake by €44 million and sales by €37 million; on a like-for-like basis, order intake was up roughly €190 million. Q2 improved from a weak start, with second-quarter EBIT at €64 million and net expectations for stronger sales, EBIT and net financial position in the second half.
