Navigating a Changing Market: How AIX Group Is Responding to a Challenging Year
AIX Group, a Dubai-based financial firm, says 2026 has been especially demanding for markets in the Middle East, with conflict-related instability weighing on investor confidence, liquidity and valuations. The company points to heightened volatility across currency, commodity and digital-asset markets, diverging central-bank policy paths that keep interest-rate expectations uncertain, and stricter cross-border compliance rules that can slow fund transfers. Property has also cooled: Cavendish Maxwell estimates Dubai residential sales fell 47% year on year in Q3 2026, and S&P Global Ratings projects price declines of 5% to 15% between end-2025 and September 2026. AIX says some products were affected by lower valuations, reduced liquidity and longer timelines, and it is restructuring the impacted programmes rather than liquidating assets. It will share updates through official channels with support from law firms, financial advisers and restructuring specialists, subject to approvals.
