CommBank ParaMatildas Announce World Cup Squad

Australia’s CommBank ParaMatildas announced a 10-player squad for the IFCPF Women’s World Cup 2026, to be held next month in Atlanta. Head coach Charlotte Ercil will lead the team as it looks to defend its historic title, two years after winning in Salou, Spain. That 2024 run included a comeback in the final, overturning a 2-0 deficit to beat the USA 6-2. The ParaMatildas enter as reigning world champions and the world No. 1-ranked Women’s CP football team, after finishing runners-up to the USA at last year’s Intercontinental Cup. Selections include Georgia Beikoff, Tahlia Blanshard, goalkeeper Katelyn Smith and returns from injury for Tinity McPhie and Smith.
