Joke of a League' -- Ex-NFL DT Calls Out WNBA's Natasha Cloud for Clashing With Enes Freedom
Chicago’s loss to the Indiana Fever 113-90 at Wintrust Arena on Sunday was overshadowed by a courtside confrontation between Natasha Cloud and former NBA player Enes Freedom. Late in the third quarter, Cloud and Freedom exchanged verbal insults; video showed Cloud pointing and yelling near the baseline as security and Sky players separated them. Freedom was escorted out and did not return. Ex-NFL defensive tackle Breiden Fehoko criticized the WNBA and Cloud on social media, accusing the incident of being “performative” and using language about anti–pro-women and transgender issues. Freedom said he was at the game to watch basketball and support Fever guard Sophie Cunningham, adding he was shocked by Cloud’s remarks, made in front of children. Cloud did not speak to reporters and later posted a message on Threads supporting the trans community.
