Knicks still undecided on White House visit after NBA championship win

The New York Knicks are still deciding whether they will attend a White House visit after winning the NBA championship, head coach Mike Brown said Tuesday. Brown said the decision is being discussed internally and will be made by the team as a group. The White House confirmed it had been in contact with the Knicks and planned to host them at a date “to be determined in the near future,” following an invitation that owner James Dolan said the team accepted during a June WFAN radio interview. Brown is the second Knicks figure to indicate uncertainty, after Jalen Brunson told Variety in July that it had not been discussed. The Knicks open their Washington, D.C. schedule on Dec. 18.
