Texas Longhorns welcome 2028 DL recruit Andrae Maddox to campus

Texas continues its 2028 recruiting push with a visit from Andrae Maddox, a defensive-line prospect who has not yet appeared in 247Sports’ rankings but has drawn strong praise from scouts. Maddox has earned offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Kansas State, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, and UNLV, with no commitment date set. Steve Sarkisian and the staff will showcase a potential Austin future during Maddox’s campus visit, as Texas keeps a wide net for the 2028 class.
