Marco Balsamo’s Bali-and-Milan soccer drama Forza has been picked up for international sales by EST N8 and will be pitched to buyers at TIFFCOM in Tokyo on Oct. 28–30. The film’s first public screening is scheduled earlier, on Oct. 25 at Jakarta Film Week. Directed by Balsamo in his first feature, Forza follows 11-year-old Bima from Bali, who dreams of pro football to lift his family’s prospects. A late-career bond with a former AC Milan player reshapes both men’s futures. The cast includes newcomer Ghazi Alhabsyi, with Tara Sibel Demren, Alessandro Costacurta, and others.
