UCLA 2027 Class Breakdown: Bruins surging in first cycle under Bob Chesney

UCLA’s 2027 recruiting momentum is showing early under new head coach Bob Chesney. As of Aug. 3, Rivals ranks UCLA’s class No. 17 nationally with 23 total commits, including one potential five-star prospect and nine blue-chippers. The haul is 5th in the Big Ten, ahead of Nebraska, Washington, Penn State, Wisconsin, and Indiana. Multiple commitments reflect California’s depth: Long Beach Poly four-star cornerback Juju Johnson committed May 2 and is now a top-40 national prospect and top-five in the state.
