All Night Wrong' Director on His Hitchcock-Meets-Wilder Film With 'Severance's' Zach Cherry and Maria Bakalova as Broken Souls

All Night Wrong debuts as a stylish neo-noir thriller with indie romantic comedy elements, premiering as a headline presentation at SXSW London. Directed by Jason James (Entanglement, Mountain Men), the film stars Zach Cherry as Gary and Maria Bakalova as Ell, two broken people on a blind date in a small Canadian town who unwittingly steal a car carrying $40,000 and a dead body, pursued by a killer and with just one night to navigate. The cast also includes Tyler Labine, Emily Hampshire, and Ryan Beil, with a script by Jason Filiatrault and support from Telefilm Canada, Voltage Pictures, Mongrel Media and others. James describes the film as North by Northwest meets The Apartment, blending neo-noir with indie rom-com.
